    If you are shopping for a home mortgage, Bank Midwest is not the bank to use. From incorrectly applied escrow fund payments, to a customer service system that is ineffective and laborious (I tried to change my primary telephone number three times and still the change wasn't in the system), and their unwillingness or inability to correct erroneous mortgage reporting that is reflected on annual county property tax bills, they are a mess.
